SCENES FROM A SUMMER MORNING

Walk with me this morning. The clouds have lifted and everything sparkles...

I'm a nest peeper.
My hydrangeas have exploded in the past couple of days.

Our big shiny girl.
Been trying for days to get a pic of a blue dragonfly, but they usually land on me making it pretty hard to get a shot.
Looks like I'm about to be a grandma.
Scout and Nigel were not happy about my teetering on a stepladder to check the nests. Poor Nigel whimpered for his mama.
Kitty thought I was crazy for using a ladder at all.
Hope you're having a blue sky day at your place.

HYDRANGEAS

My pink hydrangea...
turning blue...
What does a puppy do when she does not want to go potty in the rain? She steps into the first available flower pot...
How is it that a puppy who loves the river and her wading pool, can't abide rain puddles?

Hydrangeas

Found these late hydrangea blooms tucked up against the house...
