WEEKEND UPDATE AND A NEW TOTE

We don't have many August weekends like this one on the shore. The humidity was low, the temp was 80-ish. Picture perfect!
Took our bikes down to Oxford so we could pedal around town, and have lunch with boats and seagulls.
After lunch, it was still too nice to be indoors, so we loaded up the bikes again, and drove down to Layton's Chance Winery in Vienna. We had just enough time to pedal the 10 miles, or so, of wildlife preservation area that makes a loop behind the vineyard, and relax on their front porch with wine slushies before closing. It's one of our favorite rides.

Today I ran errands and made this sweet little reversible tote from re-cycled drapes. I no longer use these curtains, but I love the fabric, and saved it for future projects. Like this.
The cotton webbing handles, make this a super easy project that you can whip up in no time. I'll give directions in a future post if there's interest. A girl can't have too many tote bags.
Hope you're having great weather and time to enjoy it. XO.
