MORE ABOUT NIGEL

Been working on this little mixed-media quilt featuring our boy, Nigel. He's been feeling just a bit neglected, blog-wise, these past few weeks. As he's already adjusting to a new baby sister, I thought it best to make a bit of fuss, and tell you a little more of his story...
Nigel is an excellent companion. He knows a little about a lot of things, and can hold his own in any conversation about current events. He prefers not to discuss politics, however, for fear of giving offense. That need to please is the Lab in him. He has a particular interest in natural history, and it is a great sadness to him that the Smithsonian Institution has narrow-mindedly refused him entrance to the Museum  of Natural History. He also has an interest in art (loves the Impressionists) and is a bit of an Anglophile. His favorite author is Beatrix Potter. It's a rabbit thing. When he isn't helping in the barn or playing with his baby sister, he likes to lounge on the sofa, listen to NPR, and think about cheese. Also rabbits.
Nigel has asked me to remind everyone that he was a shelter pup, and begs you to consider adopting a shelter dog when you are ready to add to your four-legged family. K? Talbot Humane
